Taken during the 2007 Daphne Du maurier Festival in Fowey, Cornwall.
Russell's unique brand of comedy and humour ensured that his stand-up session at the Festival was going to be remembered. Those that have only seen Russell on television shows like Mock The Week were surprised to see how energetic he is on stage and how dynamic his performance is.
At the half way break, about 30 people left, never to return.
Maybe it was the references to putting things up his brothers bottom, or just about his religious views... either way, those that stayed undoubtedly enjoyed one of the Festival highlights. Check out further images below.
